On a Lebanese night...

I Love Byblos. It's the best Lebanese restaurant in Jeddah and one of the top restaurants in J town. I go there for lunch almost daily with the girls from the bank. Everything about this restaurant is just amazing. Fairouz songs, the perfect meals ever. Aaah I just LOVE it! And since I'm a regular customer there, they reserve us the best table, and offer us the best service. There is this one waiter in particular (Lebanese) that tries to please me in every way possible, which was great actually. He knows me by name (I usually pay by my Visa card). But on Saturday. While I was checking my Facebook account, and my friends requests.. I saw his name!!!!!! He added me!!! I can't believe it!!!
And he sent me a message to my inbox:

"u r not only Euphoria , u r the cute ladie thats what i saw in u , now i can say hi for u Euphoria, i am sure u know me dont ask me why i invite u to be friends cuz i dono the reason maybe some thing let me thought that face book is better than talking 2 u on some place , so i hope 2 be friends .thx"

Can you believe this guy?!!! He actually searched my name! LOL! Thank God my profile is private! he can't even see my picture. Since Saturday, I stopped going to the restaurant due to the extra work I'm doing now :( Actually I don't know what to do, how to react when I go there the next time?! Should I just ignore him when I see him? and pretend that I never received that request? or should I mention to him this and that it's Inappropriate to add customers and try to befriend them this way?

What would you do?

UPDATE:

Went there again yesterday with la familia and on Wed. with my co-workers. I tried as much as I could not to look at his direction. And while taking the orders, I didn't say a single word. The girls basically did everything. LOL! It was funny, the look in his eyes. One of the girls called me "a heart breaker"!! The guy looked so.. ummm..sad! but I kept smiling to everyone like I ususally do. Totally ignored the fact that he actually tried to contact me via Facebook! as it never had happened and it felt good :)

P.S. I liked the new name "heart breaker" :P

Back from London

2 weeks ago, I spent Five amazing days in sexy London! Don't you just love this City?

- Walk daily to Harrods to sip thé à la rose and order the heavenly Ispahan at Ladurée in the mornings. Then luch at the Pizzeria -don't froget to order the olives bowl-

- Went to ODEON and watched 7 Pounds and cried my heart out there :(

- Shop at Selfredges and Harvey Nichols.

- I saw Ewan while I was walking in Knightsbridge. Handsome man ;)

- Hakassan, Zuma and Cipriani. Aaaah, I wanna eat there again. (While entering Cipriani, I saw a paparazzi out side. And guess what? Penalope Cruz was just leaving!! didn't see her though :| )

- Got lost in Hyde Park. Need I say more? My brain was freezing coudn't think lol.

- Met some friends and cousins there. They're trying to convince me to apply for my post graduate studies in London. Still thinking.

- No clubing, maybe next time :P

- I so wanted to meet some bloggers who live/d there. I'll mention 2: Eshda3wa, Desertpalms. The rest are not actually following my blog, but I am following theirs. I don't post my comments. So basically they don't know me! maybe next time! :)

- The good news is that I might go back in March. I'm so EXCITED :D

The sountrack of my trip was: Moon river, Strangers in the night - Frank Sinatra (I'm guessing because Desertpalms's post) and Insomnia - Craig David.

Yesterday was the last day for my favorite "sexiest half Swiss half British" colleague at work! :( He's going to Zurich! Lucky him! I'm so gonna miss this guy. He was the most helpful & supportive and again "sexiest" colleague ever! with his cute accent ;) I bought him a key chain from BVLGARI as a farewell gift and al7amdellah he really loved my gift :)

I just called him to say the goodbyes :( he's at the airport waiting for his flight. He was so happy that I called and wished me all the best in my career & asked me to visit Zurich and promised me that he'll show me around the city :)

I just received this SMS from him:
"Miss Euphoria , it was so nice to meet you and work with you, I hope we'll stay friends for years to come! looking forward to seeing you become the 1st female "my banks name" director! Take a good care and try to have fun in boring Saudi.."

It brought me to tears wallah! he was so nice to me when I joined the bank, I learned A LOT from him. I even used to practise my French with him :(

P.S. I'm not in love with him, I'm just an emotional person! :P

P.S.S i HATE THE BANK for not inviting me to Steven's farewell dinner at Al Na5eel restaurant. Just because I'm a female is not a good reason at all! They don't have a problem inviting me to parties at the bank, but outside the bank.. God forbid mixing with males!

Ramadan at the bank

I can't focus anymore on anything, anything at all at the bank! I just feel sleepy on and off all day. Numbers are mixing! I used to remember EVERYTHING! but now, I'm having a goldfish memory.

They drive me crazy :S

- For 2 years i've been reading EVERYTHING, but romance!! guess what? not anymore! Judith McNaught is an amazing author. I just finished "Once and Always" girls you all gotta read this novel! awww.

- Dreams replay my life to mock me and show me things I should have done, but didn't!
